Atmoz appoints Emil Kilhage as CTO to accelerate AI-driven innovation in carbon intelligence

STOCKHOLM - Atmoz, a leading provider of data-driven carbon intelligence solutions, has appointed Emil Kilhage as the company’s new CTO, reinforcing Atmoz’s commitment to innovation and positioning the business for accelerated growth.

Kilhage’s entrepreneurial journey began with Glooby, the first travel search engine to calculate carbon emissions for flights, an innovation that influenced major platforms to follow suit. He later co-founded Addoptify, an enterprise CRM solution adopted by Fortune 500 companies and subsequently acquired by SugarCRM in 2021. Most recently, as co-founder and CTO at AlexisHR, Kilhage integrated generative AI into HR processes and scaled the platform to over 200 companies across 65+ countries, leading to the company’s successful acquisition by Simployer in 2024.

“Emil’s track record in using AI to drive innovation is exactly what we need as we expand our offerings and reach,” said Fredrik Bentlinger, Atmoz Founder & CEO. “His passion for pushing technological boundaries aligns perfectly with our vision for the future, and we’re excited to see how his fresh perspective will elevate the impact of our carbon intelligence platform.”

As CTO, Kilhage will focus on integrating advanced AI solutions across Atmoz’s product suite, further positioning the company at the forefront of innovation. This effort aims to deliver greater efficiency and value for customers, ultimately giving them the actionable insights needed to strengthen their sustainability strategies.

“Joining Atmoz at this exciting time of growth and transformation is incredibly motivating,” said Emil Kilhage. “My goal is to use my experience to push the boundaries of what’s possible, leverage AI to enhance our solutions, and firmly position Atmoz as a definitive leader in climate tech.”
