Atmoz appoints Katarina Nilsson as Head of Marketing to drive growth and category leadership in carbon intelligence
STOCKHOLM – Atmoz, a leading provider of data-driven carbon intelligence solutions, has appointed Katarina Nilsson as the new Head of Marketing. Her arrival marks a strategic step in the company’s next phase of growth, as it works to support a wide range of organisations in turning carbon data into business value and competitive advantage at scale.
With more than 12 years’ experience in B2B marketing across SaaS and digital business, Nilsson brings a deep understanding of how to position B2B brands for long-term success. In her new role, she will lead Atmoz’s global marketing strategy — building brand visibility, driving demand, and supporting the company’s mission to enable data-driven climate action.
“The first step for any company wanting to manage its carbon footprint is to understand the size of it today. Atmoz has an outstanding product that unlocks these insights, with automation at its core, making the process easy and efficient,” said Katarina Nilsson. “The opportunity to help shape and scale a brand with such a clear purpose is incredibly motivating. I’m excited to help Atmoz connect with organisations that are ready to take intentional action to reduce their carbon footprint.”
Nilsson’s appointment reflects Atmoz’s ambition to become the category-defining platform for carbon intelligence, a space that connects emissions data, performance insights and operational decision-making in one system.
“As more organisations move from climate pledges to real action, they’re hitting serious challenges: fragmented systems, siloed data, and heavy reporting demands,” said Jenny Bjuhr Berggren, CCO at Atmoz. “Katarina’s leadership will be key to showing the right stakeholders how Atmoz can be the strategic partner they need.”
Nilsson previously held senior marketing and communications roles at a number of different companies, including SaaS companies Occtoo and &frankly. She is known for building trusted brands that blend clarity, credibility and commercial impact.
Her appointment follows recent momentum at Atmoz, including new enterprise clients, product advancements, and geographic expansion.
